Video Producer/Director & Photographer
My name is David Majure (pronounced “major”). I have a degree in broadcasting from Northern Arizona University.
During my career, I have enjoyed working as a video producer for Arizona PBS and The Arizona Game and Fish Department. I still work for AZGFD making videos to educate the public about wildlife conservation, endangered species, and outdoor recreation.
I started MajureMotion pictures as a creative outlet that would allow me to pursue new opportunities in visual storytelling.
It has been an absolute thrill ride! I have had an opportunity to create music videos and work with phenomenal artists such as Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, The Black Moods, Sophie & Alex Dorsten, and The Cole Trains.
It has been personally rewarding to help non-profits like the ALS Association Arizona Chapter and Hunkapi Farms in Scottsdale showcase the inspiring work they do helping others.
Through the years, my videos have been recognized with numerous awards including 18 regional Emmys. My wildlife videos have received top honors from the Outdoor Writers Association of America.
Awards are appreciated, but what I enjoy most about producing videos is the challenge of finding the most compelling, most entertaining, way to tell your story. It starts with listening. Finding out who your audience is and what you want your video to accomplish. Then, it’s all about working tirelessly to deliver a video that exceeds your expectations.
If you’re ready to tell your story, or if you’re not quite sure, let’s talk about it. I’d love the opportunity to make your next video a MajureMotion picture.
